About Her Talk Show
Today, the Indo-Caribbean experience is ventilated through a wide variety of mass media programs; particularly television, which gives expression to information and activities related to sports, religion/culture, entertainment, local news and gossip. Missing from these programs however, is a “Talk Show” to highlight our perceptions and analyze the issues. An opportunity to express our thoughts and opinions on a broad spectrum of topics.
A new show, “Let’s Talk With Lakshmee,” is hosted by Lakshmee Singh. Lakshmee is a bright, articulate, and personable young lady, who intends to fill that void. The show will focus on issues and experiences that confront our community. While the show is expected to lend flavor to the sensitivities of the local people as it gives focus to issues related to medicine, immigration, religion, culture, politics, entertainment , and the like. It will strive to maintain a high professional standard to emulate mainstream television. A program of this nature is expected to promote considerable interest and draw wide viewer-ship, especially since it will be a truly unique local experience.
